Designing visually appealing and functional products that are easy to use.

My passion drives me to design sophisticated products that simplify users' processes and address their challenges. My design journey began at SintLucas in Eindhoven, where I gained experience by designing a lot of interfaces and working on personal projects on the side. I later had the opportunity to work at Withlocals and complete my graduation internship at media&more (now Einfach). These experiences gave me a more in-depth understanding of the design process, including how to define and iterate on solutions to specific problems.

Upon graduating in 2015, I decided to move to Amsterdam in order to further develop my skills and gain additional experience. While in Amsterdam, I received my propaedeutics diploma from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. During this time, I was fortunate enough to co-found Skotty with Mees Boeijen. I chose to leave my studies and dedicate myself full-time to Skotty. Working on Skotty has given me the chance to hone my skills as a designer and founder through the use of design thinking.

Currently I am working as a product designer at Akker, a design agency in Amsterdam. I help small startups and enterprises improve their product's user experience by collaborating with clients to design effective solutions that address their needs and goals.

In my free time, I like to walk through the Vondelpark (or Westerpark), order clothes from Piet Parra or browse through the book "Less and more - The Design Ethos of Dieter Rams" to get some inspiration going. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.
